Name

Roxandra Nahezda Morazov

Age

221 years

Birthdate

December 22, 1793 (Winter Solstice)

Species

Morai

Gender

Female

Origin

Kharnis

Status

Tsarina of Kharnis, Leader of The Maelstrom

Abilities

Genetics:

Life Energy Drain- Life energy is the energy created through a being's emotions, dreams, nightmares, really the personality of a being. As a Morai, life energy is her food source. The drain is heaviest with physical contact, but if close enough she can draw energy without touching a being.

Energy Manipulation- There are two forms of this to the Morai. The first is absorption. Energy in any form, electrical, heat, mystical, will not harm a Morai. However the only energy they feed on and can use as a weapon is Life energy. That is the second form, defense. Life energy is used in a series of blasts to hit an enemy. However, for the Tsarina there is one energy that can harm her, Nephiliam energy, due to a history with Therakiel.

Venomous Bite- Morai have fangs partially sheathed when they are not using them. They are pointed but pulled up to look more human. When extended, the Morai will bite a victim. This is not a usual feeding habit. The venom released often mutates a being to become Morai or a mutated form of Morai depending on the genetics of the victim. In minor amounts, some species will become mind drones connected to the Morai who bit them. It can also work as anti-venom in some cases.

Heightened Senses- Morai range is similar to that of the average animal's senses with increased vision, hearing, smelling, and so forth.

Increased Acrobatics- Increased speed and agility

Mysticism:

Shadow- The Tsarina's people created a form of Shadow Mystic skills and the Tsarina has been one of the best trained in this art. Beings can be formed, some vortex rifts for travel, and a wide variety of spells, enchantments, and illusions. Even some healing ability to dark matter beings such as demons.

Soul- The Tsarina has some skill in Soul mysticism, but is not a master. This has nothing to do with her Morai history but is simply a branch of the dark arts that she has begun to research and successfully use. For example, using these skills to give her son Yakunan's soul freedom from an artifact and reconnected it to the Morai center, the Dreshna.

Minor Telepathy- Another dark art she has picked up simply from studying and practicing. She cannot steal information from a mind for the most part, but she can carry a conversation. In mental communication, her physical form will go still a moment while her eyes flicker energy. This is noted that this is not the same as the mental connection Morai form through their blood or venom.

Weaknesses

Physical Weaponry- Guns, blades, weapons to create physical harm can injure and kill the Tsarina.

Nephiliams- The Tsarina bears a brand mark on her left shoulder given to her by Therakiel against her will. The mark made her a herald of Therakiel, something she successfully fought against. Though Therakiel has no more hold on her, she does get noticeably weakened around Nephiliams and any energy related to Therakiel. However these affects are not believed fatal on their own.

Mental- The Tsarina has suffered multiple mental attacks and controls. Though she is searching for a way to block it, she has little ability to fight mental attacks successfully at this time.

Underwater- Though not powerless, it is difficult to work with energy or shadow skill under water. Her magic is used as she needs to breath while the energy is her attack. Touching her will not hurt or drain underwater either.

Appearance

Roxandra stands a mere five foot and seven inches in height with a slim build. In general first appearances, she looks very similar to a human woman. Dark blue colored hair, often worn down, is at nearly waist length. Pale skin contrasts sharply with her dark hair though the skin is not pale as most vampiric species. The lady is anything but of the living dead. The most noticeable feature are her large crystal blue eyes, brought out even further by traditional tattooing below and around the eyes. These eyes often glow or flicker energy when emotion or mystic skills are used by the Tsarina. Her eyes also reveal health information and even mental control by those who know her enough to know her moods.

Her stance, dress, and demeanor have been carefully constructed to make it clear to all that she is a lady of means and power. All of it is a result from her training as a member of the Kharnis royal family. When she is working, she often takes care to wear a hood and partially hide her face. When she is more relaxed or in Club Caprice, she is often noticed wearing more dresses. It is extremely rare to see her not dressed modestly and befitting a woman of rank.

Personality

To ask many what is thought of the Tsarina's personality, words such as cold, harsh, unforgiving, and downright dangerous would be used and she has earned every word of it. The Tsarina has made it very clear that she is a far cry from being a hero. She treats most beings with a calm but cold manner. If she feels threatened, she is perfectly capable of handling things personally. However, the Tsarina knows how to silently intimidate those that would stand against her. If threatened or otherwise in need of something, her employees will often come out of the woodwork to her aid. She has no issues with requesting they harm or even slaughter another being. It is noted that she has an intense dislike to humans in general, though a few have made it past this and into her good graces. Manipulation is key for the Tsarina's actions. If she requests something, there is often a reason behind it. The reason is usually for her own or for the Maelstrom's gain. She is believe to even have arranged events in the public eye to make Maelstrom look heroic when truly, they were the cause of the chaos. It is however very rare to see the Tsarina alone. She almost always has two or three Maelstrom around at the bare minimum and the Tsarina likes it. If Maelstrom is together, no one in their right mind is going to make that many beings angry unless the foolish instigator is feeling suicidal.

There is another side to the Morai queen. To her own kind and to her 'family' The Maelstrom, she has an entirely different personality. She will die for someone she cares about without thinking twice. She often has den mother moments with the Maelstrom's various personalities, truly caring about what they want and what they need. If they need something, she will tear apart heaven, hell, and every other realm in order to get what is required, often risking her own health and life in the process. But she is a leader with experience. She may care about someone, but she also cares for the group as a whole. The Tsarina demands respect from those who choose to be a part of the Maelstrom family. She also demands that they do not harm one another directly or by their actions creating dangers. The Tsarina's former husband was cast out when he risked lives in her eyes. Though she did love him, it was then made clear that she makes the best choices for the group, not for her own desires. This has resulted in some beings told to leave The Maelstrom's odd family. Though she has often thrown her own personal feelings out, if her family is safe then she feels it is worth it. She often finds the loyalty and even affection from her insane asylum of chaos is well worth her trouble.

History NOT FINISH, NEEDS MAJOR MODDING

The Tsarina was born in the year 1793 on December 22nd, the Winter Solstice, to Tsar Kasheem and Tsarina Eirene Morazov. Eirene was murdered and died before her daughter was born. However, they were able to save Roxandra. She was born in the family's ancient castle within the hidden Morai city of Kharnis, located in the mountains of Russia. Growing up would prove that she was skilled in the shadow magic of her kind, the Morai. As a Morai, she had increased acrobatics, senses, endurance, intelligence, and so forth though not to any extreme. She also had the natural ability to take the life energy of any other being and manipulate it to her liking. This also was a Morai's food source. Though she was deemed intelligent, she often created mischief with her friend Coelliro Leena'Kish who was a dragon from a nearby nest.

Her childhood was not unpleasant. Her parents, her father marrying his former wife Seluna, fawned over their daughter as they had lost two sons to human hunters. Roxandra was well guarded, but also taught to defend herself. Kharnis had a very close alliance to a large nest of dragons within their borders. The leader of the nest was simple "Ancient One" to all who knew him. The great white beast was older then any other dragon, so old he not only lost his black color, turned snow white, but he has forgotten his given name. The Ancient One was Roxandra's teacher in shadow magic, combat, and also how to be a truly great and powerful leader. Never before had a female Morai taken the throne on her own. As they have very long life spans, they often have already found a mate. But, she would still be of the royal blood and so was trained as such. Roxandra learned quickly and became the Ancient One's 'teacher's pet' and favorite. He called her "Little Orchid" after an event she has yet to tell. The nickname was also used by her father and older Morai. The young princess worked hard to learn her skills, often forgetting to rest or eat as she tried to master a new task. It was noted that Roxandra was not happy until it was perfect and would ruthlessly drive herself forward until it was more then merely satisfactory.

In adolescence there was a brief but serious interest between the Tsarina and Coelliro but this ceased when he was forced to leave the nest and find his own way. Years passed with the lady becoming a more skilled shadow mage. Though not considered a full adult until they are 150 years of age, Morai were active in both world wars. Roxandra began to gain a reputation as a skilled mercenary. However, the Morai did not choose sides in either war. They were skilled in shadow but had no interest in what happened to humans. After the war, Kharnis began a new sort of war. Roxandra worked with her kind to locate blood shops. Morai blood was extremely valuable as a few drops drank by a human would be an amazing 'high' much better then any other thing the humans used, such as perhaps Opium or as such. Their blood was also extremely valuble to mystic beings and an interest to the scientific communities. However, a Morai forms links with whoever drinks their blood. This often caused insanity as the Morai captive would be bled to death. The last of these shops was destroyed by the early 1900s but it was not over yet. In the year 1948,Roxandra was kidnapped for her blood and Tsar Kasheem Morazov moved to destroy the shop. The raid was successful, however the Tsar had disappeared completely. For a decade the Morai tore the world apart to find their leader, ruthlessly following every lead. But, he was never found and as his queen Seluna could not sense his blood as Morai mates bind in such fashion, he is believed deceased.

Thus Roxandra Morazov became the youngest royal to sit on the throne, as the Morai have very long lives and rarely change leaders. She is also the first solo female ruler. With this latest disaster of losing their king, the Morai became entirely against the outside world. They began to patrol the mountains around their city, killing any humans or unknown beings found in the territory. Age, race, and gender did not concern the Morai as to what or who was killed, they returned the treatment they had received in the blood shops. After a very short time, the mountains were left in peace. But after many decades, the young Tsarina became rather restless. She stayed in her city, Kharnis, until the Morai began to have concerns about technology. Taking this as an opportunity, the Tsarina left her home in the care of the Elder Council and struck out to man's world.

Days after arriving in Millennium City, this city being deemed the safest for her person as it is a city of heroes, villains, and everything found in all the realms. She began to seek out skilled assassins, mercenaries, thieves, dark mages, demons, any being that would be willing to be paid for the Tsarina to complete her various plans. This organization has come to be known as "The Maelstrom" due to it's chaotic nature. However, "The Maelstrom" did not openly commit anything against the law. Though it is strongly suspected they are a criminal organization, no proof has come forward to stand in a court of law. The Tsarina has also been known to do work for "UNTIL" and "PRIMUS" under the table. There have also been a few instances where "The Maelstrom" were seen as heroes, though they may have been the ones to start the chaos and tragedy in the first place.

Shortly after she was established into Millennium City, Coelliro Leena'Krish and the Tsarina found each other and began a serious relationship. This quickly blossomed and the lovers were married. The Tsarina was pregnant as well, life looked good. But sadly, the unborn child caught the attention of many who feared a vampiric shadow dragon. The Tsarina was attacked several times to where she began to take bodyguards with her everywhere she went. The threats became more vicious and more serious. The threats were not the biggest problem, Coelliro was viciously protective of the Tsarina to where she felt smothered, patronized, and frightened at his actions, always angry. Her greatest fear was Coelliro would be killed as he took offensive actions. The snapping point came when she was handling a situation and the father-to-be became overly aggressive to the beings the Tsarina was dealing with at the time. Coelliro choose to start fighting, though his wife attempted to prevent it. He sealed her into a hut of earth and stone so she would be out of the way while he wrecked havoc. After the fight, he let her go, but the damage was done. The Tsarina was furious, she had made him promise to not smother or patronize her the night they learned of their unborn. He had broken his word and he had trapped her like she was a caged bird.

She forgave him but he began to tell her how he would go after the ones who threatened the child and it's mother. The Tsarina, her heart breaking, ended their marriage. She considered his actions suicidal and hoped if he had nothing to protect, he would live a much longer life. Instead, Coelliro became more reckless and also began to show violent rage toward her. On more then one occasion, The Maelstrom stepped in to protect their leader from the dragon.

Roxandra's life corkscrewed with meeting Therakiel. As her personal life was in turmoil, she had not seen that Phoenix, one of her favorites within Maelstrom, had been working with Valerian Scarlet. Therakiel's chaos was released on the world, and a Maelstrom member had played a very key role. Therakiel and the Tsarina's people, Morai, had some past before. The Morai are able to affect and even change the direction or flow of the leylines, rivers of energy running across the surface of the planet. It takes a massive effort and involves a small army of Morai, but it can be done. Therakiel had managed eons before to have the Morai give him three leylines so he could eventually regain his power. But now, Tsarina Morazov intended to be in the fight against Therakiel, enraging the Nephiliam as he had expected an ally. Instead, they fought. Tsarina and many other beings were against Therakiel that day, keeping him busy while others prepared to change back time. Absorbing massive amounts of his energy, she helped weaken him. But that was her downfall.

The time rift was successful, but there was a high price for this victory. During the rift, the Tsarina was pulled into a pocket dimension. Therakiel demanded that she serve him as the Morai had done at the beginning of time. Refusing, she angered the powerful deity. He decided that if she would not do so willingly, she would do so as a puppet. It is unclear what exactly happened within that pocket dimension. However, when the Tsarina was released and sent back in time, her unborn child had been killed. Her left shoulder also bore the mark, the brand, of Therakiel. This brand formed a link between herself and Therakiel so he would slowly break her sanity. The first thing the happened on her return was not of Therakiel, but it would give the final push. She was told that Coelliro was dead. Enraged and torn by sadness, she vowed she would never let Therakiel leave his prison.

For several weeks, the Tsarina quietly fought a never ending battle. Therakiel worked relentlessly to break her down. Though it was a very dark time for her, there was one good thing. Yakunan. Yakunan was a Reaper who was working with the Tsarina. They grew close, but they could not have predicted what happened next. Yakunan was concerned due to the fact his life was connected to his father's weapon. If it were shattered or broken, Yakunan's life would cease. In a risky move, the Tsarina tore his soul from the armor and connected it the Dreshna. The Dreshna is the Morai ancestors, soul and energy, forming a large blue shifting energy ball. They get their mystic abilities from it and are connected as a group through it. Though the ritual was stressful, it was a success. This made Yakunan the Tsarivich, the heir to Kharnis, for by their laws he was now the son of their queen. Yakunan quickly became a top priority for her, insanely protective but loving.

Coelirro, her husband believe to be dead, suddenly appeared alive and well. The Tsarina was enraged that he had not told her though he could have easily done so. She had been mourning his death. This caused a series of events that led to Coelliro being driven away. He went to Canada and has attacked her any chance he gets.

But still, Therakiel was fighting to gain power. The Tsarina had found a way to lock him within his prison for a very long time, maybe always in his prison. Twelve idols were the key. There were also four heralds, one needed to die. The Tsarina had planned to die personally but Therakiel learned of that matter. He gave her immortality, temporarily. But he grew weary of trying to break her and using the link he had it so one of his Generals would get the energy and not the Tsarina. This meant starvation. But she was immortal, unable to die. Yakunan, enraged at his mother's physical state, brutally murdered several Nephiliams as well as the General. Once the idols were all found, they were shattered. Luthor Black's daughter was killed as the fourth herald as well. It was an all out massive attack. The Tsarina had managed to win several strong allies and organizations, hero or villain, light or dark, they worked to destroy Therakiel. The Morai people were able to cut his power source, contorting the energy leylines away from him. The Tsarina and a team weaseled in to Therakiel's power and destroyed it. Therakiel did not die, but he will not escape.

Though her revenge was finished, it was not the same as before times. The brand on her left shoulder remained. Therakiel, though weakened, often taunts her from his prison. Mithrilian was used to block things between Therakiel and Tsarina Morazov, which did indeed help. Nephiliams in general however weaken her greatly.
